Packaging
Designed
to win Shelf.
Most packaging blends in. We design labels and packs that get noticed in a crowded category, get picked up, and get chosen. Brand led, built to stay consistent across every SKU and every shelf.
Brands we've built packaging for

Work that did the job it was hired to do.
Five engagements where the brand changed how the business was perceived, positioned, or chosen.
The Standout System.
A shelf is a jungle. The eye scans it in seconds and skips anything that looks like everything else. A pack that does not break the pattern is not chosen. It is not even seen. We design packaging to break that pattern, building contrast on purpose across four levers.

We Design.

We Do Not.
We design the brand on the pack, not the box that holds it. Your manufacturer handles structure and print production. We hand them artwork that is ready to run.
Built for Ranges,
Not just one pack.

MOST BRANDS DESIGN A HERO SKU, THEN ADD MORE PACKS.
What works for one pack breaks down when repeated. Inconsistency creeps in. Shelf impact drops. The range starts to look like a compromise.
WE BUILD AS A SYSTEM, NOT AS A SINGLE SOLUTION.
We architect a visual logic that adapts across variants, sizes, and categories - ensuring consistency, flexibility, and recognition at every level.
THE SYSTEM HOLDS. THE PORTFOLIO GROWS. BRAND STRENGTHENS.
Every new SKU looks like it belongs. Shelf presence scales. The brand builds equity with every addition - not dilutes it.
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before starting a brand packaging engagement with GreySpace.
A packaging design agency designs how a product looks and communicates on its pack: colour, typography, hierarchy, and the structure of the front and back panels, and how it reads on a shelf or a screen. At GreySpace, that work starts from brand strategy, not visuals first, so the pack reflects a positioning decision, not just a design trend.
Yes. Packaging design is one of our core service lines, alongside brand strategy and identity. We design for shelf and screen, factoring in how a product needs to perform in a store and on a phone.
GreySpace is a strategy-led branding agency. Packaging design is one part of a broader offering that includes brand strategy, identity, and UI/UX. We're positioned as insight-led, and packaging work starts from the same strategic groundwork as everything else we do.
Structural layout guidance, label and pack graphics, typography and colour system, print-ready files, and dielines prepared for your manufacturer. It does not include physical prototyping or production, that stays with your manufacturer or printer.
Brief and category research, initial concept directions, refinement based on your feedback, then final print-ready files handed off to your manufacturer. Structural and regulatory requirements are factored in from the concept stage, not bolted on at the end.
For a master concept, we typically provide 2 rounds with 2 to 3 directions per round. The exact number can vary depending on the level of research involved, whether brand guidelines already exist, and the type of project.
Both. A single SKU gets its own system, but the bigger value shows up across a range: one consistent visual identity that scales as you add products, so a tenth SKU still reads as part of the same family as the first.
Yes, this is factored into the design from the start, not treated as an afterthought. A pack has to hold up as a small thumbnail on a phone screen just as much as it holds up on a shelf, bold colour blocking and high-contrast typography matter more, not less, at that scale.
We handle the graphic and label system: colour, typography, layout, brand elements. Structural engineering, the physical construction of a box, pouch, or bottle, sits with your manufacturer or a structural packaging specialist. We design onto their dieline, we don't originate it.
We position mandatory elements, including the FSSAI number, MRP, ingredient list, and barcode, for legibility and correct placement on the pack. Confirming the exact regulatory content itself, such as what the FSSAI number is or ingredient accuracy, stays your responsibility or your compliance consultant's. We're not a regulatory filing service.
That's the point of designing a system rather than a one-off pack. A new SKU gets built on the same visual structure, so it looks like it belongs next to the others instead of starting from scratch each time.
Your manufacturer or printer provides the structural dieline, the cut, fold, and dimension template. We design the graphics onto that dieline. If you don't have a manufacturer yet, we can guide you on what to ask for, but we don't produce structural dielines ourselves.
Timelines vary by scope, a single SKU moves faster than a full multi-product system. We'll give you a specific timeline once we understand your product range and requirements.
